By now you’ve probably learned of Gua Sha from a friend or family member who affirms their restorative, healing properties or seen videos of them in use on your favourite beauty influencer's page, and you’re very curious about them.
Gua sha is a technique used in traditional East Asian medicine. It is often used to treat muscle pain and tension and it proved to be a great skin care tool, bringing many benefits, such as improved skin tone and elasticity of the skin, stimulating natural collagen boot, reduction of puffiness and wrinkles, promotion of lymphatic drainage, elimination of toxins and pores tightening, since the crystal remains cold even when in direct contact with the skin.
Massaging the face with a Gua Sha will increase blood circulation and the oxygen released will allow the skin to release toxins and calm inflammations. Improved circulation from regular massages can make your skin looks brighter and more rigid.
Jade is a symbol of purity and serenity, that brings tranquillity, increases love and nurturing. It is a protective stone, which keeps the wearer from harm and brings harmony. It attracts good luck and friendship.
